We KC LNG Tech were founded in February 2016 by Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) and
three domestic shipbuilders (HHI, SHI and DSME) to commercialize KC CCS (Korean Cargo Containment System)
for LNG carriers that was developed in Korea.

We at KC LNG Tech are providing the LNG CCS & CHS design service, consultancy and engineering.

150 patents related to the KC CCS have been registered in Korea, EU, USA, China, Japan and Australia and the uniqueness and originality of its technology was verified through the leading Classification Societies.

As the successful step to enter global LNG market, KC CCS was applied to two ships operated by SM Korea Line heading to the Tongyeong LNG Terminal to load a full cargo and then sailing to Jeju. Each of them was delivered in 2019 and 2020.

Especially one of the ships operates as not only LNGC but also Bunkering Vessel, which proves the greatness of KC CCS.
